1.028b has been released and is supposed to do something to the water effects... interaction between all a/c and the water. I have not noticed anything different... I landed the BrW 12 on a pond and saw no change. I guess it has something to do with non-floatplane interaction with water. Beats me. 189meg update.

Seriously? They behave totally different. I was able to fly a DIII with it's wheels nearly entirely submerged! The water actually interacts with the planes now, as opposed to just instantly flipping them over.
I know... why get excited for something so small? But with the channel map coming, this makes it possible to actually survive a water landing in a non-float plane, as well as make water crashes much more spectacular and believable.
But then again, I also thought jumping out of your plane in RBII was a revolution in game technology...

I never flew a landplane into water, so I missed on that one. Thanks for letting me know, I thought maybe it was something graphic-wise etc.
