First thing I noticed, all the textures are blurred. Second, the game is a slide show, with serious "Chunka-chunka" screen updating. I tried the repair thing, rebooting...no help so far. Any thoughts before I delete and re -download the whole shebang? Very frustrated...  |

Not to beat a dead horse, but have you re-checked all your graphics settings?
I don't think you'd be having driver problems, since the medals are all ok. Just brainstorming....did you remove any files before the backup? Maybe you moved something that wasn't replaced in the update? I'm just speculating, I've never seen this before.

thanks for the ideas guys, I re-installed everything completely, and that seemed to do the trick. Of copurse, I have to re-map everything.

Just to add to the graphic issues. I lowered my game resolution recently w/out doing the same in the desktop. The graphics became psycodelic, man, until I lowered the graphics on my desktop to the same resolution in the game.
I have an ATI HD 5500 series card.
