I'm in need of a cockpit upgrade, I'm running with a Logtech with the twisty grip. I yaw when I don't want to, like the drunken sailor I once was.
I've been eyeballing the CH products and since I have visions of glorious bombing ops, their throttle quandrant has caught my eye. In fact I don't think they have anyother throttle on the market.
I've had Saitek's offering, X-52 w/rudder pedals, and thought the centering detent in the rudder pedals could have been more aggressive. Does anyone here have CH's pedals, and if so, any complaints? TIA.

all CH gear here, going on 9 years...the only issue is the toe brake axis on the pedals quit working fairly early on, all other devices have been great.
I upgraded from TM gear.

I can endorse the CH fighterstick. Lots of us have them, I think. I use the Saitek pedals. I haven't heard much good about the x-52 stuff, but don't have firsthand info.

Great, now I have to wonder which way to go on the pedals. I've had Saitek, as I mentioned, so I was going to try the CH pedals, not really liking the weak centering detente in the Saitek. THEN, I did more internet browsing and noticed the CH pedals don't have an obvious means of tightening the resistance, so it was back to Saitek. Hawkeye is now kicking that idea into a cocked hat. I DO plan on buying the throttle quardrent from CH so I wonder now if Saitek pedals will play nice with CH products. I can't see why not, but I'm far from being anything of knowledgable on these matters. So I guess I should ask Hawk, is there a method of tightening up on the resistence of the pedals that I wouldn't see just by looking at internet pics?

My Saitek rudder pedals do work well with other equipment, although I don't have any CH products.
My controllers are:
MS-Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 Joystick Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals TrackIR 3Pro w/ Vector Expansion
Also as a cheap substitute for a throttle quadrant, I use an old Saitek AV8R-01 joystick. It's a USB twist stick, which I don't need, but does have dual throttle levers that can be ganged together, plus a bunch of toggle switches and buttons. Cost me $5 at a thrift store!

S! I love my saitek pedals for how adjustable they are,and for there smooth operating feeling i get.But the main reason i have them is for there wide stance which gives my boys the breathing room,if you know what i mean.had ch pedals they work well but to narrow stance for the boys.I also have ch fighterstick love it,and a saitek Throttle Quadrant.

Just ordered the Saitek rudder pedals and a CH flight stick. Never used pedals before, so there will be a learning curve. I figure anything I can remove from my stick to another controller is a plus. I don't have a quadrant control, and don't plan on getting one at this time. I cannot recommend the Saitek X 52 pro at all-the stick is sloppy and it and the MFD take up alot of real estate on my desk. Still trying to get my G19 worked out with the macros, but making progress.

I second Klaue's opinion of the rudder pedals. You will love them. As for the "boys" I don't have any problem. When I need them, I ask my wife for them and I sign them out.
