To the point, is it possible to translate a map from the Wilson campaign generator to an online dogfight map?

If you mean mission, then yes and no, it will generate a coop mission with out any work just tick the box,but then if you wanted it to be a dog fight mission you need to go in to mission editor and start changing things such as whats on each air field etc.

Great I'll have to try it out. I've already generated a single player mission for the Aras region, so I should be able to load it into the editor as a multiplayer/dogfight map and tweek it accordingly. I was wondering if we might have a familiarization flight map for BA. I tried the straight foward route but couldn't find the Aras sector in the default mission editor.

I believe there is a practice session scheduled for this coming Saturday, but I'm not sure when. We'll be able to see the AO from that.
My Adjutant set in on the meeting in my absence, but hasn't posted the report yet...hint...hint...

I learned the Arras sector quite well by playing the single player Career B. Select a start date of April 1, 1917 and you will be able to chose Jasta Boelke and start most likely at Pronville in an Albatross D.III. You can fly the Career (try to just stay alive, don't go for kills, and protect your AI wingmates) and get back and land... it's all good practice. You will learn the topography and get a handle on the obvious landmarks quickly and they will come in handy during the event. You will be able to orient yourself quickly and that's important.

My dear, dear Ludwig, the idea is to get a map up and running online so's we can all see what it's like (as we had for the GIAP event). I already have a map of Arras generated via the campaign generator. So, if you can lend your expertise in map creation maybe you have some advice for me on how to convert the offline map to an online map.

Target,go into mission editor and select open from the drop down menu. Then open up from the missions folder the one called gen-mission,this will load the last mission you flew in single player.Mine was a skirmish mission. Now change the name, mission type, and put put aircraft on the field if it's a dog fight mission. You can also change all the other things like normal. Now save it back into the multiplayer dogfight folder and BOB's your uncle.
