One month of painting, gluing, stressing, and not sleeping later and voila! I'm thinking of starting another one in October, any suggestions? I already have a P-51 Mustang, FW-190, ME-262, P-47 Thunderbolt, P-38 Lightning, A6M Zero, and a P-61 Black Widow. I also have a Camel and an Airco D.H.2, but they were early in my modelling career and don't look all that great, so I probably will re-do them at some point.

Thanks! I worked on it really hard. One of the toughest builds I've ever done.

Very nice, what you need now is the most beautiful of all planes, a MK1 Spitfire.

You "red" my mind there Reddog (See what i did there . I was actually just saying to a friend earlier that I was thinking of doing a Spitfire. Any idea where I could get some references for historical paint schemes? The ones that come with the model are usually pretty generic.

Really nice VS. It looks great. I agree with Red Dog. The Spitfire should be next.

And/or it's nemesis, the ME-109.

I have to chuckle ..... Not one of you suggested an aircraft from the Great War.
How about a fully-rigged, large scale Fokker DR1 in Jasta 7 colours?

Ooooo, I had totally forgot about the 109. That'd be a fun one. I think'll add that to the list, but I'm in agreement with the Spitfire. I don't have any British WWII planes yet, so it seems necessary to fix that. I'll use this thread to update it's progress when I get there. Thanks for the input!

Yeah, I was kind of questioning that too Vasco, haha. I'd love to do a Dr.I, I just need to learn how the wiring on WWI models works.

ya know after looking at all the pics I don't see a stuka in there.... Revell makes a 1/32 scale stuka with the big anti-tank cannons on it that would be a nice add to the collection.

WOAH! Those are amazing. The ME-163 is awesome, and that twin engine in the back (Heinkel?) on the last picture looks incredible too. Amazing stuff Schultze! S!

Salute RD, Alittle of both. my brother in law built the allied planes, I did the axis. I have probably 40 or so unbuilt kits in my garage. I have six that are in various stages of construction. But like I said its been a few years since I have even touched them. Oh and yes one of them is Stuka, Italian favored. Schmidlak what scale do you build? Very nice work on that B-17 buddy, I'd like see some of your others

I build 1/48. That B-17's wingspan is about the size of my arm!! I'll see if I can get some snapshots of a few others up.
