Yes Reddog it was part of shipment that was sent to Northern Ireland by Germans.My grandfather and cousin of his were getting k98 Mauser's maximum 1908 machine guns and million rounds of 8mm Mauser. The Germans were sending guns to try to reek havoc on British troops .The IRA wanted guns to over throw the British.This was all that was left ship hit storm arms washed up on beach near Belfast and British got the arms.My grandfathers cousin was Sir Hugh Crawford. I think the ship was called the Clyde river Attachments:

reddog that Black Adder was a hoot.No the Irish government made My Grandad's cousin the sir part never really got full story on that one.All I know is that made him a Sir and my grandad had to leave Ireland because British goverment there was wanting To streach his neck HA HA THAT'S GOOD ONE HRH
