Anyone try it yet? Any thoughts? I looked on ROF forum it seems that only one guy had an issue.

On the one hand its a free update on the other if it is not broke don't fix it.
Compatibility report for Windows 10: FAQ
Applies to Windows 10
What does this report cover?
The compatibility report in the Get Windows 10 app makes sure your PC can run Windows 10. The report also lists any problems with your devices, apps and PC, and other important information that you need to know before you upgrade.
We’re working with partners to make more apps and devices compatible with Windows 10 and will update the report if we discover any changes. For more detailed information about the compatibility of a specific app or device, check the Windows Compatibility Centre.
What does it mean if a device is listed?
If there’s a problem with a device connected to your PC, it means that your PC can run Windows 10, but the device won’t work correctly after the upgrade because it isn’t fully compatible. For example, you might not hear audio from your speakers or your printer might not work.
In some cases, installing an updated device driver will fix compatibility problems with devices. For more detailed info about the compatibility of your device with Windows 10, go to the Windows Compatibility Centre.
What does it mean if an app is listed?
It means your PC can run Windows 10, but there might be a problem with the app. The report will show you:
•Apps you'll need to uninstall because they cause problems with the upgrade process.
•Apps you'll need to reinstall or update after the upgrade.
•Apps that won’t work correctly or won’t work at all with Windows 10.
Why did I see a notification about Windows Media Centre?
You'll see this message if you're using Windows Media Centre on your PC. Windows Media Centre isn't available as part of Windows 10 and will be removed during the upgrade. You won't be able to install Windows Media Centre after the upgrade. Why did I see a notification that I won't be able to restore factory settings?
You'll see this message if the manufacturer set up your PC to run from a compressed Windows image file and included an option to restore factory settings. After the upgrade, you won’t be able to restore factory settings, but other recovery options will be available.
How often does the report run?
The report runs automatically about once a month. If you've recently installed apps or devices, or made changes to your PC, the report might not reflect these changes.

It did a scan and it says all my devices are compatible. But are they? I would hate to find that one of my controllers, teamspeak, Track IR etc don't run the same.
At the same time I'm with you if its not broke don't fix it.

So I took the dive into Windows 10.
I've been online since I figured out my bugs not sure where I went wrong. Here is what I experienced and what I did to cause and or fix it.
I added a SDD card to my PC for windows and my main gaming.
I have a bunch of games I play, Kerbal Space Program Fall Out 4, Total War Rome2,etc.
I also have a bunch of games I don't play a lot like Company Of Heroes, Close Combat, etc.
I figured I could have 2 steam desk top icons on my PC 1 going to my SDD drive one going to my HD drive.
So when I went into Rise of Flight, and DCS I lost all my throttle settings. All my response curves stayed.
I have a USB bank with multiple ports had to switch for it to read my throttle it. No big deal.
Now going back to the two steam desktop icons. I figured I could put my low use games on the HD and my high use games on the SDD. NO! They are both open at the same time for some reason even though I have them going to the C: and D: drive. May bee someone can explain that more to me.
When I would fly in ROF, I wouldn't necessarily lose my throttle settings I couldn't change my mixture unless I went into settings then exited without doing a thing.
So What I did was delete the ROF copy off the other drive and everything seems to work now. For some reason even though I called it up on one drive the second drive interfered.
I just have to work on my TS3 settings and I'm good.
I also noticed on the maps I've flown the Nvidia screen flash is gone.

How long did it take to install Windows 10? What issues if any did you have migrating email contacts/calendar over to the new windows 10 email format? Any other issues? Thanks Dutch

It took roughly 1-1/2 to 2 hours from start to finish. I don't have a lot as far as contacts etc so that wasn't a concern for me. Plus I don't use email that much so I couldn't tell you.
So basically how it works is if you have, and don't quote me window 7 or 8, not sure if anything else qualifies. You can upgrade for free until June or July.
So what it did was install windows from the internet over my windows 7 copy. It doesn't format anything just replaces one version with the next. My bookmarks for firefox stayed. Also, I forgot to clear my password before I started and that stayed so that could have been messy.
Everything seemed to be in the same place. Don't quote me on that. I use my PC for gaming.
I really hadn't noticed anything screwy. I'm sure there are a few features I could turn off just hadn't got around to that.
Saw on the internet when you install it to not install all the wacky features. Don't recall what everything was some of it was auto updates and remote help some of it was stuff for apps and wifi.
I did a basic install figured if I want or need something later I can get it.
Hope it helps, and you have a few months before to free offer is up so I can be the ginnie pig if you like.

A clarification for my last post and the post about my throttle.
I technically installed windows 10 twice. The first time on my old hard drive which was 1.5 to 2 hours start to finish all that info is correct.
I then bought a SDD drive and installed windows 7 on my new drive then downloaded windows 10 over it. You have to have a qualified version to get windows 10 that's why I had to install Win 7 first. The second download was faster only because it had less garbage to overwrite but I lost time by having to install windows7.
So here is the correction on windows 7 I didn't need drivers for my HOTAS Warthog.
I noticed I needed drivers for both installments. It seemed ok on the overwrite of my original HDD but the new SDD was when I had to switch USB ports to get my throttle to work.
