Something new (problem).

I posted this over at the ROF forum verbatum.

Never seen this before.

I updated to the latest patch, played for one night, no problem. Now when I start the game it goes to the 777 splash screen and after a few seconds the screen goes white and I get the Win. 7 problem message with the 3 options, (a problem has occurred, what do want to do? Go online and find a solution... blah blah blah.)
Anyone see this happen before?

Have you tried using the "recover" option in RoF? It seems to solve a lot of problems.

You should try the recovery, but it doesnt' really sound like a game issue to me.

What has changed on your system recently? Changed any settings, overclocked anything, changed a graphic driver, etc.?

PS: moved this thread here, since more of a tech problem than a game announcement.

Go to the folder where you main ROF.exe is at and right click on it the program. Select run as administrator and see if that helps. I had a similar issue a while back and that fixed it.

Thanks guys, I never noticed the recovery option before, mainly because I didn't have a need to fix the game. But, that did the trick, might never know what caused the problem, one of those mysteries.
