Just a head's up on this new update. Both Razwald and I had graphics issues such as flashes and artifacts. Rebooting the computer after the install, cleared them out on both our computers.

There did not seem to be any DirectX update as part of this one like there usually is, when I did it.

IMO

Only a clean up of GUI, but a different compass and now you can't move the gauges where you want them. This really sucks for 3 monitor people as all gauges are far left or right and we can't move to our center monitor.

Really dropped the ball on this one.

I don't like the indicators as well as the old ones, but like anything else I'm sure we'll get used to them. The bug that existed before this update had to do with the Sikorsky S22 gauges, which before would only show engines 1 and 2 indicators (3 and 4 missing). I haven't even bothered to check yet but I'll bet that's fixed now. My guess is that the new indicators match what was in the Ilya Muromets sim when it was a separate product.

The GUI looks pretty good, a little practice navigating around in it helps. Probably a little more logical, in the end. It has taken a long time to refine this game; do you guys remember when you had to change any settings within the game launcher? Long time ago.

Yes the new compass is not as user friendly as the old one, in my opinion. it's going to force me to revert to the inboard cockpit compass. I also have not figured out how to move the new compass from the bottom of the left screen. Any one?

Under Responses the game was using All planes, so had to select my response curve for the plane I was flying also had too select field modifications.

Yes that happened (again). It's a pain when you have to select every single plane, uncheck the box for "all planes", then make sure to hit "apply". That's a lot of reconfiguring to do.

What's really irritating is if you have more than one profile, you have to do the whole process over again for that one too!

Hope everybody checks all of this before showing up for FiF. These are not the kind of troubles you want to deal with last minute.
