I spent yesterday evening developing response curves for the Halb D.II, Roland, and GBR N.17. I'm happy with all of them. ;D I spent all of today setting up or perfecting more than 350 saved snap views on 38 different planes: 6 instrument views, an optimized standard gunsight (home) view, an optional gunsight view (Aldis or gun barrel), a "check 6!" view, and for those with over-wing weapons (either primary or optional) an elevated gunsight view, for all 38 planes. Some of the planes I had never got around to doing (like the Sopwith Dolphin), or some I had never completed everything (like the Brisfits or SE5a). I'm really looking forward to flying most of them using their full capabilities. Those Brisfits are MONSTERS, you can put twin Lewis' over the wing that fire in conjunction with the forward Vickers, AND they elevate too for a devastating uppercut punch from below. The Dolphin can have FOUR forward firing guns plus another TWO that fire upward. Gotta try that! You bet I have THAT work backed up

I don't own stock in this company but if anyone is interested, I recommend FolderClone for about $30. I bought it years ago and use it almost everyday for backup. It's simple and quick to use. Essentially, I set up a "task" to tell it which folder on which drive i wish to have cloned and then tell it where to clone it on my external backup drive. Once it's setup, all I have to do is place a check mark or right click on the created "task" and in a few seconds, it compares the two folders and re-clones any changes to the external target drive, including all the sub-folders inside the targeted folder.
It's actually faster to tell FolderClone to clone the whole folder (once it's been initially copied) then to go searching for my RoF\data folder then dragging it to another drive.
Being obsessive compulsive, I have a couple of external drives hooked up as backups for my photos, music, files, etc. and of course the whole 777\rise of flight folder. FolderClone does not backup or make an image of the c drive / OS, but it's nice to know that all your files are secured and up to date on a backup drive when the computer goes down and system re-installation or hard drive replacement is the only solution.
Tech support on it is very good too. It's very reliable and I had to call them only twice in the years I've owned it and I got an answer to my email within a day.
The other application that I use on a daily basis is HyperSnap. It was recommended to me by Shultze almost 20 years ago and was used in Red Baron to take snaps of reconnoitered targets which was then sent to a Referee prior to being allowed to bomb them. It's great for screen snapping.
